A 12-episode series on the microscopic life of Catalonia.
The series ‘Invisible Catalonia’ shows not only the beauty and the singularity of the forms of these small beings, most of which are microscopic, but also their activity, their feeding techniques, their reproductive strategies, their development, their ecological characteristics and their importance in the ecosystems that make up our territory.
And with the aim of raising awareness of these tiny inhabitants of our world, the importance of which is often unknown to most of us, it does not show them as isolated elements of these ecosystems, but as companions of those other living beings that are much better known.
In order to facilitate the treatment and comprehensibility of the subjects dealt with, the book is divided into twelve chapters, each of which is devoted to a specific environment. The protagonists of each of the ten chapters are therefore different, since the ecological conditions prevailing in the different ecosystems have favoured the evolution of unique and specialised forms of life.
